2019 Summer Book Study

En Español

This summer, in addition to your trips to the pool, parks, and fun family gatherings, we’d like to invite you to join our summer book study here at St. Andrew! We will be studying Dr. Scott Hahn’s The Lamb’s Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth.  This study will help us understand the biblical roots of the Mass, the meaning and purpose of the Bible and the Mass in God’s plan of salvation, and to see the Mass and the Bible with new eyes, and be able to enter into the Mass more fully, enthusiastically, and powerfully than before!

We will be offering the book study on Wednesdays for 7 weeks starting June 5- July 24, with no session on July 3. The sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. and from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., both times in the Multi-Purpose Room.  We will share a potluck meal, with each table taking turns to provide the meal, and then discuss our reading for the week. Each week will cover 2 chapters. Upon request, childcare will be available.

The cost of the study is $24 and includes the text book and study guide. You may pay for the materials at the parish office or online after registering.  Books and study guide will be available for pickup at the parish office starting Friday, May 17.  Additionally, you can order your materials directly from Amazon.

To register for the class, please fill out the form below.   If you are interested in being a table host (hostess), you will receive your materials for free. Host (hostess) training meeting will be on Wednesday, May 22 at 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. in the Upper Room. Please let us know if you’d like to be a table host (hostess).

Note: The book is available in Spanish but the Study guide is not.
